Selling is a widely diverse field requiring many different skills and
approaches. Sales people who succeed in one type of selling may be
frustrated in another approach. SalesKey® is designed to assess
your preferences in selling situations. Some questions may not seem
to apply directly to the kind of selling you do, but please follow
directions carefully. There are no right or wrong answers.
Directions:
1. Please answer every question. Do not leave any blank. If none of the
choices is completely satisfactory, choose one that is most nearly
correct. Leaving an answer blank could skew results worse than an
occasional uncertain response.
2. You will have only one opportunity to answer each question. HITTING BACK ON YOUR BROWSER MAY CAUSE THE APPLICATION TO FREEZE AND YOU WILL HAVE TO START OVER AGAIN.
3. Do not discuss your answers with anyone while taking the survey. If
at all possible, avoid distractions and complete the survey at one sitting.
4. Although there is no time limit to complete the assessment, some
questions will have a time limit. Work as quickly as you can.
5. Whenever possible, your responses should reflect what you actually do or
have done in selling situations. Try to avoid hypothetical answers as much as
possible. The more honest your answers, the more you will likely benefit.
6. When you have finished, be sure you go to the last Question and click the Finish
button. If you do not click "Finish," your results will not be processed, and you
will have to re-take the survey. DO NOT CLICK "Finish" MORE THAN ONCE.
